Mechanic International is a family business based in Asse, Belgium. Since its foundation, the company has specialized in security, various types of containers and the adaptation of sea containers for a variety of applications. Mechanic International is proud to announce that it has and still are playing a major role in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

In September 2023, Mechanic International was approached by the Brazilian company Consorcio Casa Paris, which is headquartered in Barueri. Consorcio Casa Paris, known for its expertise in events and fairs in Brazil, was awarded the prestigious assignment to realize the Brazilian village "Casa Brasil" for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

After an intensive design and assessment phase, Mechanic International was selected as the exclusive supplier for the container project in April 2024. This project is designed as an innovative combination of shipping containers and office containers, which are stacked up to three levels high. The final design embodies not only functional efficiency, but also a visual ode to Brazilian culture. This groundbreaking project marks a milestone for the company and illustrates its growing international reputation in the industry.

The container project is made up of several floors, each with their own functions:

»  The lower floor includes bar and kitchen containers that are fully equipped with lighting, electricity, air conditioning and modern kitchen appliances. These spaces will serve as the central meeting place for visitors and athletes, where they can enjoy Brazilian gastronomy and hospitality.

» On the first floor are the office and camera rooms. These containers are designed to accommodate the staff at Consorcio Casa Paris, with an efficient layout that provides both work and rest areas. In addition, there are some terraces at the back, which offer extra space for relaxation and informal gatherings.

» The top layer is a 40 FT shipping container that stands out enormously thanks to a special wrapping. This container not only serves as a storage space, but is also a visual anchor point that attracts attention and reinforces Casa Brasil's identity.

The containers are painted in Brazil's national colours – green, yellow and blue – and provided with the necessary logos of Casa Brasil and the Olympic Games. This vibrant color combination creates a recognizable and festive look that visitors will immediately associate with Brazilian culture and spirit.
